Preparing and submitting the amendments in registration due to change in contractors details and renewal of license

Obtaining the registrations and / or license as the case may be
Advising on the maintenance of various registers, records etc.
Preparation of half year and annual returns
This enactment regulates the employment of contract labour in certain establishments and to provide for its abolition in certain circumstances. Central or state government has got jurisdictions depending on principal employer’s (Company) status. Lot of responsibility is cast on principal employer to see that contractual workmen are not exploited
This enactment is not applicable to the establishment performing work only of an intermittent or casual nature otherwise
If principal employer employs 20 or more workmen through contractor’s
If contractor employs 20 or more workmen for principal employer
Principal employer need to obtain registrations and to amend the same, if there are any changes
Contractor need to obtain license and renew the same every year
Maintenance of various registers, records are required
Authority can prosecute principal employer and/or contractor/s for breach of the provisions of this enactment. Provision of imprisonment upto 1 yr. and fine upto Rs. 5,000/- are there
